5090 In addition to Jessica Lange, two more members of American Horror Story will be returning for season 3.

At a press screening for next week's American Horror Story: Asylum season finale, co-creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that both Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters would be coming back.

"I'm just now meeting with a lot of actors so I don't want to say too much, but they're actors Jessica wants to work with -- so she's sort of become a non-credited producer on season three because she loves doing the show," Murphy said, reports THR.

We also learn a few details about season 3 as it's said to center around Jessica Lange and be a modern-day story with her character described as a "really glamor cat sort of lady." The season will also feature time jumps, which the second season had as well.

Murphy also doesn't rule out actors from the first season.

"I will say that for season three, we are going to have some actors from season one who will return. I like that idea. I know that those actors are interested in that," he said.

"What Season 3 is about is more historical in nature," Murphy continued." I'm also interested into getting into a horror romance. That's certainly something that's going to be in the water for season three.

"You're going to see a very different tone in season three, but that's the joy of the show. I think as a person right now I do feel lighter and wanting to embrace something a little bit more fun," he said.

Both Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, in addition to Lange, will now have been featured in all three seasons. Season 2 saw Paulson play the victim to Zachary Quinto's Bloody Face, with Lana Winters. Peters played Kit Walker, who aliens were seemingly interested in. In Season 1, Peters played the serial killer Tate, with Paulson having the small yet important role of a psychic who clued viewers into the plot of Season 2.
