6241 If you recall, it was once said that toys sales sealed the fate of the recently canceled Green Lantern: The Animated Series as well as Young Justice.

Meaning either there were no toys or what little there actually were didn't sell.

Same probably holds true for Thundercats as well.

Well, treat this as a rumor, but the two new Marvel animated series set to debut on DisneyXD later this year with Avengers Assemble and Hulk A.G.E.N.T.S. of Smash is seemingly sharing a similar fate.

The website TheDailyMarvellite is saying that due to toy sales and positive insider reaction, Avengers Assemble is getting a second season.

However, the same can't be said for the Hulk toon as it's getting negative insider reactions and initial orders for toy sales are said to be low.

They also mention the Hulk animated might be cut to 13 episodes, from the original 26, with the remainder to be picked up by the new Iron Man animated series.

If we take a look at the two images that were released, the news does make sense.
