A first look at Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger has been revealed for Season 2 of Arrow on the CW.

Bronze Tiger is based on the DC Comics comic book character of the same name, which interestingly enough is related to the League of Assassins, the villains of Arrow Season 2.

Bronze Tiger, in the comic books, gets brainwashed by the League Of Assassins and becomes one of the most feared assassins on the planet. During his time as a member, the Bronze Tiger is sent to kill Kathy Bates, who happens to be a friend to Batman, as well as being the superheroine known as Batwoman. Eventually, Bronze Tiger gets deprogrammed with the help of Amanda Waller, who has been cast in Arrow Season 2 as well. Bronze Tiger is also attached to the Suicide Squad, which Waller controls in the current comics.

"Michael Jai White is playing Bronze Tiger and he is such a badass," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told TV Guide. "His performance, our kick-ass stunt department, our incredibly talented costumer designer, and our very gifted props master...they've all combined their A-games to create a really great representation of this DC Comics character."

"He's basically the best of the best, so he has come to Starling City to see if the Hood can give him a challenge," Guggenheim continued. "To that end, he has aligned himself with China White [Kelly Hu] and the Chinese Triad. If you're a fan of the character from the comics, you are going to really happy with his Arrow-fication."

Season Two of Arrow will feature Navid Negahban playing the main adversary to Oliver Queen as Al-Owal, a member of the League of Assassins. It has recently been announced that Grant Gustin will play Barry Allen aka The Flash, with Stephen Amell letting it become known Christopher Nolan gave approval to use the character leading many to speculate Warner Bros. and the CW may be creating a shared movie/TV universe.

Michael Jai White is known for his martial arts and action roles with Jax in the Mortal Kombat: Legacy series and Al Simmons in the Spawn movie. White was also featured as gang leader in The Dark Knight.

"Arrow" Season 2 premieres Wednesday, October 9th at 8pm ET on the CW.
