This season promises to be especially terrifying as not only does Merle Dixon return — but The Governor debuts as well!

However, Rick will not be left to fend for himself as a new member joins the group — the Katana sword-wielding Michonne!

All this and more, including the prison!

Season 3 of The Walking Dead premiers Sunday, October 14th at 9pm ET on AMC.
