We are about five months away from The Avengers: Age Of Ultron where Joss Whedon will be introducing a new villain as well as the Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and the Vision.
Whedon recently spoke with Collider where he offered a few tidbits.
On Ultron and James Spader:
Well, Ultron feels a certain distance from humanity, and the day Spader got here we put on the mocap pajamas, a giant thing with red dots on it for his eye line, and a giant pack, and a helmet with two cameras in his face with lights to record his performance. He then did a scene with Scarlet, but not looking him in eye because she was looking up in his eye line, nor could he see her because he had two lights shining in his face, and he had his glasses on. Therefore, he has a certain distance from humanity, too. God bless him, he was wonderful, and very game and has been the whole time. Very interested in the mechanics of the mechanics, and of you know, finding the humanity. He and I share a genuine love of this version of Ultron, and he has an innate eccentricity in his delivery that is everything that I had hoped Ultron would be.
On the Hulk:
Well, I wasn’t the one who said, “Don’t make a Hulk film” or anything like that. Kevin said to me, “We think right now it’s good to have somebody that you can only have in the Avengers.” There may be rights issues, I have no idea. Everybody loves Mark. He’s phenomenal, but the fact there hasn’t been a Hulk since that Hulk doesn’t suck. My job is hard enough, you know. Cap’s had a movie, Thor’s had a movie. Everyone’s gone through big changes, Iron Man’s had a movie, so I have to juggle everybody’s perception of that while still making a movie that you can see having not seen any except the first Avengers or not even that.
Whedon also won't say much regarding the origin of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's powers:
Strucker’s been doing experiments, and he’s got the scepter, and he’s been using alien tech to do them. It’s kind of where I landed with that, but look for an exciting retcon in Avengers 6!
On the Vision:
No, we make them as close as we can. The stunt guy, we have to make allowances for the shape of his face and padding and things that we’re putting on him, but they’re not meant to look different. Basically, what usually happens is, one of the guys, Ryan Meinderding or one of the guys on his staff draws something unbelievably beautiful, and we try to create that in real life, and it takes a long time. The first tests were very Violet Beaurogarde. It really took a long time to get to a place where we felt like… even though we will work on him in post… he walks on and we go, “Oh, it’s The Vision! My God!”
"The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" hits May 1, 2015 directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Paul Bettany as Vision, with James Spader as Ultron.
When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Sony recently decided to pull The Interview from its December 25th release due to terror threats, and now it is learned New Regency has pulled the plug on another project that was to be set in North Korea.
Deadline reports the planned movie was being developed by Gore Verbinksi set to star Steve Carell.
The film is described as a paranoid thriller written be Steve Conrad, which was set to start production in March.
The report says due to the current circumstances surrounding the Sony hack and threats, "it just makes no sense to movie forward" and "the location won't be transplanted" in addition to "Fox declined to distribute it."
It's noted Verbinksi has other movies with New Regency they will be developing.
Steve Carell stars in Foxcatcher which is currently in theaters.

The hacker group calling themselves "The Guardians Of Peace" recently threatened movie goers who plan on seeing Seth Rogen and James Franco's The Interview on December 25th.
Yesterday saw a message posted on the anonymous Pastebin website that stated people who see the movie will suffer a "bitter fate" and compared it to 9/11 adding "the world will be full of fear."
In response, the major movie theaters cancelled screenings, and now Sony has officially yanked the movie and cancelled planned interviews and promotions with the cast.
Sony released the following statement:
In light of the decision by the majority of our exhibitors not to show the film The Interview, we have decided not to move forward with the planned December 25 theatrical release. We respect and understand our partners’ decision and, of course, completely share their paramount interest in the safety of employees and theater-goers.
Sony Pictures has been the victim of an unprecedented criminal assault against our employees, our customers, and our business. Those who attacked us stole our intellectual property, private emails, and sensitive and proprietary material, and sought to destroy our spirit and our morale — all apparently to thwart the release of a movie they did not like. We are deeply saddened at this brazen effort to suppress the distribution of a movie, and in the process do damage to our company, our employees, and the American public. We stand by our filmmakers and their right to free expression and are extremely disappointed by this outcome.

A new international trailer for Kenneth Branagh's (Thor) live-action Cinderella movie has been released.
Cinderella has a March 13, 2015 release starring Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden and Helena Bonham Carter.
The story of "Cinderella" follows the fortunes of young Ella (Lily James) whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. Eager to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home. But, when Ella's father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Finally relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella, Ella could easily begin to lose hope. Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother's dying words and to "have courage and be kind." She will not give in to despair nor despise those who mistreat her. And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an apprentice at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. It appears her fortunes may be about to change when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, raising Ella's hopes of once again encountering the charming Kit (Richard Madden). Alas, her stepmother forbids her to attend and callously rips apart her dress. But, as in all good fairy tales, help is at hand, and a kindly beggar woman (Helena Bonham-Carter) steps forward and -- armed with a pumpkin and a few mice -- changes Cinderella's life forever.

Last issue of Dan Abnett's Guardians 3000 saw the introduction of the Nova from the future with Rael Rider, a descendant of the Richard Rider (or Robbie) family.
With Marvel's recent treatment surrounding Nova being so bad the last few years, some fans speculated Marvel would be killing off the character as to not compete with NINO.
Well the good news is that the character will be sticking around - at least until March - as the solicit for Guardians 3000 #6 mentions "the last Nova."
We can also take from that since Rael is the last Nova, that NINO bites the big one at some point. More good news.

If legit (could be a big if), the user claims a meeting was recently held between Sony and Marvel that lasted about 40 minutes. The meeting is said to have gone over the "final kinks" of the deal they have been working on to "incorporate Spider-Man into the MCU."
It's said the meeting was short because the deal for Spider-Man is already in place, and they were "simply tending to other commodities."
If the deal is in place, Marvel can now use Spider-Man possibly as a post-credit scene for The Avengers 2 and a cameo in Captain America 3.
According to the rumor, the deal is expected to be officially announced after next month's "Spidey Summit," and the "heavy favorite" to play Spider-Man is Logan Lerman.
Logan Lerman, known for the Percy Jackson movies and most recently Fury, was said to be up for the role of Spider-Man prior to Andrew Garfield, where the actor previously stated: “There have been a few discussions, it’s definitely something I’m looking into. It’s [Spider-man] one of my favorite characters ever and I’m a huge fan of the series. I’d love to have more conversations about it. I’m definitely very interested in it.”
